Boris, a digital strategy, media and public affairs professional, got involved with Forbidden Stories while serving as Special Advisor to Reporters Without Borders’ General Manager, in 2017. Prior to this, Boris was the Digital Strategy and Open Government Advisor within the Office of the French Prime Minister (2014-2017)–as such, he oversaw digital transformation efforts across French government. Reporting to the Minister for Government Reform, Boris helped innovation, collaboration, online tools, open policies and data make public service better.

Boris worked as a political consultant and campaign strategist for candidates like San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and brands like Google and YouTube. He received several awards and scholarships for his work.

Boris is a graduate of France’s top school for public affairs, Sciences Po (BA, ‘06 and MA, ’08), and Harvard University (MPP, ‘10). He also studied music and creative writing at Columbia University.
