3 months before his assassination, Javier Valdez published a very sensitive interview of Damaso Lopez, alias “El Licenciado”. One of the most prominent drug lords in Mexico. He was murdered a few weeks later. Forbidden Stories sheds light on the story that drug traffickers didn’t want him to look into.
