Who is she?
Yuriria Sierra is a Mexican journalist and TV anchor. She currently presents the mid-day news bulletin on Imagen Televisión, a national TV channel. She also presents two news programs on Imagen Radio and writes a weekly political column called “Nudo Gordiano”.
Sierra is an influencial journalist in Mexico and she had interviewed every major political figure in the country, including former presidents Carlos Salinas de Gortari, Vicente Fox, Felipe Calderón, Enrique Peña Nieto.
She was previously editor of the political pages of the Milenio Diario newspaper and she collaborated with several political magazines. In 2018, she co-hosted the Mexican presidential debate.
She regularly appears in the Forbes ranking of the 25 Mexicans most influential on social media.

Mexican authorities did not answer Forbidden Stories’ questions on the surveillance of journalists. NSO Group did not answer Forbidden Stories’ questions on specific targets but said it “will continue to investigate all credible claims of misuse and take appropriate action based on the results of these investigations.”
