Since the publication of our Rwanda Classified investigation, our colleague, Rwandan journalist Samuel Baker Byansi, has been the target of serious threats, not only against himself, but also against his family.
Forbidden Stories and its partners denounce these heinous threats against a journalist and his loved ones, and stand by Samuel and his family.
These threats demonstrate the various types of intimidation the 50 journalists of the Rwanda Classified project have documented in their investigations into the transnational system of repression operated by the regime of Paul Kagame.
