Frédéric Métézeau

Frédéric Métézeau, born in 1975, is Editor at Forbidden Stories since September 2024. From 2001 to 2013 he was a reporter and anchorman for several channels of Radio France, the French national public radio.
Reporter in Lille and Paris, editor for French politics at France Culture then France Inter from 2014 to 2018, he was correspondent for Radio France in the Middle East from 2019 to 2023, before joining Radio France investigation department of as an investigative journalist in 2023.
In 2023, in partnership with Forbidden Stories, he revealed the existence of Israeli disinformation companies operating abroad, after an undercover investigation with two Israeli journalists.
During his years of correspondence for Radio France in the Middle East, Frédéric Métézeau was a senior reporter based in Jerusalem, covered news in Israel, Palestine, Egypt and Jordan, and produced, in addition to daily news, several radio documentaries and long-term investigations.
He also wrote two books: Vieux renards et jeunes loups, gallery of political portraits, published in 2019 by L’Archipel, and Nous n’avons jamais été des enfants, co-signed with Berthe Badehi, a life story of this former child hidden during the Second World War, published in 2021 by Stock.
